“Preserving the traditions of Haitian Vodou through authentic education, cultural preservation, and traditional initiation.”

Welcome to the C.E.C.I.L.E. Academy of Vodou
The C.E.C.I.L.E. Academy of Vodou is a traditional educational institution founded by Houngan Samba’L in Pétion-Ville, Haiti, dedicated to teaching Haitian Vodou through authentic instruction rooted in Haitian culture, spirituality, and lineage.
The Academy was established to preserve and transmit the traditions of Haitian Vodou by providing serious students with a structured academic education before they undertake traditional initiation in Haiti.
Working alongside Houngan Samba’L is Papa Mystique, one of his initiated students, who serves as the Academy’s international educator and coordinator. Papa Mystique helps students throughout the world access authentic Haitian Vodou education through online instruction while preparing them for their traditional initiation in Haiti.
Together, Houngan Samba’L and Papa Mystique bridge traditional Haitian instruction with modern international education, allowing students from around the world to learn directly from a traditional Haitian foundation.
